Hrithik Roshan To Play Villain In Unsung Warriors Sequel Opposite Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn and Om Raut are gearing up for the second film in their Unsung Warriors franchise, following the success of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. After the hit 2020 film, which focused on Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare, the duo planned to continue with a story on Baji Prabhu Deshpande, a 17th-century general known for his heroism in the Battle of Pavan Khind. However, their plans were delayed after the Marathi film Pawankhind covered the same tale. Now, they are revisiting the idea and considering either expanding on Baji Prabhu’s story or focusing on another hero from the Maratha kingdom.

Excitingly, Ajay Devgn is eyeing Hrithik Roshan to play the villain in this sequel, marking the first time the two will share the screen. Devgn believes Hrithik’s strong screen presence and acting skill will make him a formidable adversary for his character, with Sharad Kelkar continuing in his role as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
