Joker 2 OTT Release: Joaquin Phoenix's Sequel Now Streaming on Amazon Prime Video

Joaquin Phoenix's highly-anticipated sequel Joker: Folie A Deux, also known as Joker 2, is now streaming on OTT platforms. Directed by Todd Phillips, the psychological thriller marked Joaquin Phoenix's return as the iconic character Arthur (Joker) on the big screen after nearly five years. The sequel had a grand theatrical release in India on October 2, 2024, but unfortunately, it received poor reviews from both audiences and critics.

Joker 2 stars Joaquin Phoenix in the titular role, with Lady Gaga playing his leading lady, Lee Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn. The film is the highly-anticipated musical psychological thriller sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Joker. Along with Phoenix and Gaga, the movie also features Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, and Zazie Beetz in key roles. Despite the excitement surrounding the film, it failed to make a significant impact at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 13.39 crore in India.

Joker 2 is now available for streaming on Prime Video, but there is a twist—it is being offered on a rental basis. To watch it online, you need to rent the film from Amazon's rental store.
