The ongoing dispute between the central government and Tamil Nadu over the Hindi language issue continues. Actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) president Kamal Haasan has responded, warning that this is a sensitive matter and should not be taken lightly.

On the occasion of MNM completing eight years, Kamal Haasan met with party workers at the Chennai office. During the meeting, he emphasized that Tamil people have sacrificed their lives for their language and warned against playing games with such issues.Kamal Haasan further stated that Tamil people know which language they need, and children have the wisdom to choose the language they want to learn.
