Kangana Ranaut's Emergency Finally Passes Censor, Runtime Announced

Kangana Ranaut Emergency movie

Kangana Ranaut's second directorial venture, Emergency, has experienced several delays for various reasons. The latest postponement, moving from September 20, 2024, to an indefinite date, was reportedly due to death threats received by CBFC members, as claimed by Kangana.

However, the good news is that the film has now passed the censor process. Kangana shared this update on social media, stating that the release date will be announced soon. The film has been granted a U/A certification with a few cuts, and its final runtime is set at 146 minutes (2 hours and 26 minutes), which is suitable for a political drama.

Produced by Renu Pitti and Kangana Ranaut under the Manikarnika Films banner, Emergency features an ensemble cast including Shreyas Talpade, Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla, and others, along with Kangana. The music for the film is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
