He explained that logic takes a backseat when it comes to great filmmaking, emphasizing that films driven by strong conviction can captivate audiences. Citing SS Rajamouli's films, Johar pointed out that while they may lack logic, their success is rooted in the filmmaker's unwavering belief in the story. He also mentioned other blockbusters like Animal, RRR, and Gadar, noting that their success is due to the conviction behind them, not the logic.

Johar further stressed that self-doubt and overthinking logic can hinder a film's success. He believes that if filmmakers embrace conviction, they can create any film into a blockbuster.

Karan Johar is preparing for the release of his upcoming production, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, scheduled for April 18, 2025. He also has Tu Meri Main Ter and Main Tera Tu Meri with Kartik Aaryan in the works, along with backing Kesari Chapter 2 under his Dharma Productions banner.
