Kareena Kapoor Reveals Details of Saif Ali Khan's Attack in Police Statement

Saif Ali Khan's health is gradually improving, according to doctors at Leelavati Hospital in Mumbai. It was reported that a few days ago, at around 2:30 AM, a thug broke into Saif's residence and attacked him with a knife, resulting in severe injuries. His family members immediately rushed him to Leelavati Hospital by auto, where he was treated without delay. Saif is now out of danger and has been moved from the ICU to a special ward. He is expected to be discharged on the 21st of this month. Meanwhile, Mumbai Police are searching for the attacker.

Reports on Friday indicated that the Mumbai Police had apprehended the suspect. However, police officials clarified that the suspect had not been caught yet. Police detained and interrogated the carpenter named Waris Ali Salman, who had worked in Saif’s house two days ago. After questioning, he was released. No one has been taken into custody in connection with the case so far, and the search for the attacker continues. Around 30 police teams are working tirelessly to capture the individual who attacked Saif. There are suspicions that the underworld might be involved, but preliminary investigations have confirmed that the attacker has no known links to any criminal organizations.

As part of the investigation, Mumbai Police have questioned 40 to 50 individuals. Saif’s wife, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, has also provided a statement to the police. In her statement, Kareena explained what transpired the night of the attack. According to police sources, the attacker was highly aggressive when he entered the house. Saif attempted to protect the children and women in the house from the attacker. During this altercation, the attacker stabbed Saif. The attacker also tried to break into their young son Jahangir's room, and Kareena feared that the attacker might harm their child. Saif intervened to stop the assailant. During this time, the children and women were sent to the 12th floor for safety. The attacker fled after stabbing Saif, as Kareena mentioned in her statement to the police.
