Khushi Kapoor got emotional remembering her late mother, Sridevi, during the trailer launch of her debut film Loveyapa. At the event, Aamir Khan shared his admiration for Sridevi, revealing that it was his dream to work with her, a dream he could never fulfill. Khushi, who stars alongside Junaid Khan in the film, was asked how she thought her mother would have reacted to the event but chose not to discuss it, visibly emotional. Aamir expressed his pride in Khushi and Junaid’s debut, saying he was sure Sridevi would be proud of them.

The film Loveyapa, a romantic comedy about modern relationships, is set to release on February 7, 2025. Directed by Advait Chandan, it is a remake of the 2022 film Love Today, which explores love among Gen Z.
