Actress Kiara Advani has stepped into a new phase of her life as she and her husband, actor Sidharth Malhotra, welcomed a baby girl. On Friday, the couple revealed their daughter’s name on social media, along with a heartwarming photo. “From our prayers, our little blessing has arrived into our arms. Saraayah Malhotra,” the post read.

The name Saraayah appears to be inspired by a blend of the first syllables of the couple’s names — ‘Sa’ from Sidharth and ‘Yara’ from Kiara. In Arabic, Saraayah signifies princess. The couple did not reveal the baby’s face; instead, they shared an image showing the infant’s tiny feet wrapped in socks. Fans have been showering the new parents with congratulations once again. Kiara and Sidharth, who got married in February 2023, welcomed their daughter on July 15 this year.

On the Work Front

Kiara Advani, who has established a strong presence in Bollywood, did not achieve the same impact in the Telugu film industry. She has appeared in movies such as Bharat Ane Nenu with Mahesh Babu, Vinaya Vidheya Rama opposite Ram Charan, and Game Changer. This year, she made a striking appearance in War 2, the multi-starrer featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. She is currently part of Yash’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups.
