Kriti Sanon Opens Up About Nepotism, Dream Role

Kriti Sanon, who made her mark in the industry without any background, has gained a unique fan base. Having appeared in Telugu films like One Nenokkadine with Mahesh Babu and Dohchey with Naga Chaitanya, she is now focusing primarily on Hindi cinema. Recently, she attended the IFFI 2024 event, where she spoke about nepotism in the industry and shared her thoughts on her dream role.

Talking about her dream role, she expressed a desire to play a superhero character. She mentioned that she wanted to explore a completely negative role and reveal a different side of herself. Regarding nepotism, she believes the industry doesn't take much responsibility for it, but the media and the audience play a crucial role. She pointed out that the media's treatment of star kids influences the industry's decisions, and audience interest leads to the casting of star kids in movies, creating a circle.

She emphasized that if you are talented, you will make it to the industry. However, without talent or a connection with the audience, it's difficult to succeed. Kriti mentioned that she was warmly welcomed into the industry when she arrived, but it took time to achieve what she desired, like landing a spot on a magazine cover. She acknowledged that everything in the industry requires effort and hard work.
