Mardaani 3 Announced on Franchise's 10th Anniversary

The series stars Rani Mukerji as Shivani Shivaji Roy, a fearless cop who has redefined women's roles in traditionally male-dominated fields. Mukerji’s portrayal of Shivani has become an iconic symbol of strength and integrity.

The original Mardaani, which debuted in 2014, was followed by a successful sequel in 2019. Rani Mukerji, who confirmed her involvement in Mardaani 3 in 2023, shared her excitement about returning to the role, provided the script is engaging. She admitted to feeling anxious about the sequel but ultimately enjoyed it, and she is eager to step back into Shivani’s role once again.

Mukerji was last seen in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, where she portrayed a mother fighting to reunite with her children after they were taken by Norwegian authorities, showcasing her talent in a powerful role inspired by true events.
