Raashii Khanna, who starred in the hit crime thriller Farzi, shared her excitement about the upcoming sequel. She revealed that director duo Raj & DK are still working on the script for Farzi 2, and while she’s eager to begin, both she and co-star Shahid Kapoor are waiting for the final call.

Farzi, which debuted in February 2023 on Amazon Prime Video, became a massive success with its gripping story of a small-time artist, Sunny, turning to counterfeit money. The show, which also starred Vijay Sethupathi, received widespread acclaim and became one of the most-watched Indian web series.

Raashii confirmed that the sequel is happening and that she’s thrilled to get started. She mentioned in an interview that both she and Shahid are waiting for the script and are hopeful that shooting will begin soon. Fans are eagerly awaiting official updates from the makers.
