Ranbir Kapoor recently shared details about Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated film Ramayana during his appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah. The actor, who will portray Lord Ram, expressed feeling “humbled” to be part of such an epic project. He praised the film’s producer, Namit Malhotra, for his dedication, and the director Nitesh Tiwari for leading the team. Ranbir revealed that he has completed filming for Part 1 of the two-part film, with Part 2 set to begin soon.

The film’s producer, Namit Malhotra, shared his vision for Ramayana, emphasizing the authenticity and cultural significance of the adaptation. The first part of the film is slated for release in Diwali 2026, followed by Part 2 in Diwali 2027. Along with Ranbir and Sai Pallavi as Ram and Sita, the cast includes Ravi Dubey as Lakshman and Yash as Ravan.
