Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram Announce Pregnancy on Wedding Anniversary

Actor Randeep Hooda and his wife, actor and entrepreneur Lin Laishram, celebrated a special moment on their second wedding anniversary by announcing that they are expecting their first baby. The couple shared the happy news through a warm Instagram post along with a serene bonfire photograph, calling their upcoming arrival “a little wild one.”

On Saturday, the duo posted a dreamy picture from a forest setting, where they are seen dressed in matching beige outfits, sitting beside a fire and smiling for the camera. Their caption confirmed Lin’s pregnancy and highlighted the joy of completing two years together: “Two years of love, adventure, and now a little wild one on the way.”

Randeep and Lin first met at Naseeruddin Shah’s Motley theatre group, where their friendship gradually turned into love. After a short period of dating, they tied the knot in 2023 in Imphal, Manipur, following traditional Meitei wedding customs. Randeep embraced Manipuri culture wholeheartedly during the ceremony, while Lin looked elegant in her classic Manipuri bridal attire adorned with gold ornaments. Their wedding remained a close-knit celebration attended only by family and close friends.

Speaking earlier about choosing Manipur as the wedding location, Randeep mentioned that he wanted to honour Lin’s cultural roots. He also humorously added that Meitei wedding traditions often require the groom to sit for a long time, but he was eager to experience every part of his partner’s heritage.

Lin has appeared in several well-known films, including Om Shanti Om (2007), Mary Kom (2014), Umrika (2015), and Rangoon (2017), and continues to pursue diverse creative projects.

Randeep, who recently played the antagonist in Jaat opposite Sunny Deol, is gearing up for his next role in the American action-adventure comedy Matchbox, directed by Sam Hargrave and featuring John Cena, Jessica Biel, Danai Gurira, Teyonah Parris, Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro and Corey Stoll. The film is expected to release in 2026.
