Speaking about the role, Rashmika stated, "Coming from the South, portraying Maharani Yesubai was a special experience. It is one of the most unique roles I have played in my life. After this, I felt like retiring, and I even told the director, Laxman, about it."

Rashmika expressed her admiration for the "Chhava" trailer, saying it captivated her, and she added that Vicky Kaushal looked divine in the film. At the trailer launch event, Rashmika made intriguing comments, revealing that she considered retirement after completing "Chhava."
