Saif Ali Khan Reveals Details Of Attack In Police Statement

A week after the attack at his Bandra home, Saif Ali Khan told the police that he and his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, woke up to cries from their nurse, Eliyamma Philip, and their son Jehangir. They rushed out of the bedroom, where Saif confronted the intruder.

Saif stated that he attempted to restrain the attacker, but after being stabbed multiple times, his grip loosened, allowing the intruder to escape. Preliminary reports indicate that fingerprints found at the scene match those of the accused, Shahzad. The suspect is in police custody and will appear in court on Friday. Saif, who underwent surgery for his injuries, was discharged from the hospital a day before his statement was recorded.
