Saif Ali Khan's Discharge Confirmed for 10 AM Today After Robbery Injuries
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is set to be discharged from Lilavati Hospital today, January 21, at around 10 AM, following his hospitalization after a robbery attempt at his Bandra residence. He was admitted on January 16 with multiple injuries, including one near his thoracic spine, after trying to protect his family during the burglary. Saif is now stable and recovering.
Dr. Nitin Dange confirmed that the discharge paperwork was completed last night, and Saif will leave the hospital between 10 AM and noon today. Although initially expected to be discharged on Monday, doctors decided to extend his observation period for an extra day or two.
During the robbery, Saif was stabbed six times, with a 2.5-inch blade recovered from his back during surgery. The attacker, identified as Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir (who entered India illegally under the alias Bijoy Das), was arrested two days later. The police and forensic teams have collected fingerprints from Saif's home as part of their investigation.
