Mumbai Police received a threatening WhatsApp message demanding Rs 5 crore from Salman Khan to resolve his dispute with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The message warned that failing to pay would lead to a fate worse than that of recently murdered former MLA Baba Siddiqui.

An investigation is ongoing to trace the sender. In light of these threats, police have increased security around Salman’s Bandra residence, providing him with Y+ protection and installing AI-enabled CCTV cameras. This comes after a shooting incident near his home in April and the recent arrest of Sukha, a key member of the Bishnoi gang, linked to a plot against the actor.
