The makers of Sanam Teri Kasam 2, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, have confirmed the sequel's script is ready and revealed the release date: next Valentine's Day. The original film, which underperformed at the box office in 2016, has seen a strong resurgence after its re-release on February 7, 2025.

Filmmakers Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru hinted at where the story of Inder (Harshvardhan Rane) is headed, mentioning subtle clues in the first film’s ending. They also revealed that the movie’s songs are nearly complete, and part 2 is set for release next Valentine's Day.

Harshvardhan Rane, who played Inder, shared his excitement about the sequel on Instagram. He even announced plans to do an 11-day water fast outside the producer’s office, urging them to bring the sequel to life. Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, with many hoping she will reprise her role in the sequel.
