Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have been named in a case for allegedly misleading customers. The Rajasthan High Court granted them anticipatory bail and scheduled the next hearing for September 25.

Kirti Singh from Rajasthan bought a Hyundai Alcazar for Rs 23 lakh but claimed it had a serious technical fault, which the company and dealership refused to fix.

He filed a complaint against the stars, brand ambassadors of Hyundai Motor India, saying their promotions misled customers.

Shah Rukh has been with Hyundai since 1998, and Deepika joined in 2023. The court has provided interim relief, with the outcome pending.
