Faizan Khan, a lawyer from Raipur, was arrested for allegedly issuing a death threat and extortion demand of Rs 50 lakh against Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Investigations revealed that Khan had conducted extensive online searches on the actor's security details and movements, including those of his son, Aryan Khan.

Khan's actions were uncovered after forensic analysis of his second mobile phone, which contained evidence of his research into SRK’s security arrangements, which is under Y-Plus protection. Authorities discovered that before making the death threat, Khan had gathered sensitive details about the Khan family's security.

On November 7, Khan called the Bandra Police Station, threatening to kill Shah Rukh Khan unless he paid Rs 50 lakh. The police traced the call to Raipur, leading to Khan’s arrest on November 12. Khan remains in judicial custody as the investigation continues.
