Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to travel to America for eye surgery. Earlier this year, Shah Rukh suffered a heart stroke during the IPL due to dehydration. He made a full recovery and even attended the IPL final afterward. This year, Shah Rukh's franchise, KKR, clinched the title.

It is not yet clear what specific eye problem Shah Rukh is facing. However, he is scheduled to receive the Pardo Ala Career Award at the Locarno Film Festival on August 7.

Nearly every film Shah Rukh released last year was a hit. "Pathan" and "Jawaan" were major successes, while "Dunki" received good reviews.

Currently, he is working on the movie "King," which reportedly also features Amitabh Bachchan.
