Although Shah Rukh couldn’t come out to greet the massive crowd gathered outside his iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, due to safety concerns, he ensured that his fans felt appreciated by spending quality time with them during the event.

A video from the celebration has gone viral, showing the moment Shah Rukh briefly stepped outside to wave at fans, prompting his bodyguard to rush in for protection as the crowd grew uncontrollable.

During his interaction, the actor fondly recalled his father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, revealing that his sports drama Chak De! India was a heartfelt tribute to him. He shared,

“My father used to play hockey, and I did too. I once dreamed of representing India, but fate had other plans. When Chak De! India came to me, I told Aditya Chopra that I’d do it for my father. The film became my way of honouring him. The girls were fantastic—it felt great to be on the field with them again.”
