Shahid Kapoor Reacts to Saif Ali Khan Attack, Expresses Concern for His Health

It is known that there was an attack on Saif Ali Khan, the heir of the Pataudi family and Bollywood actor. Early Thursday morning, a burglar broke into his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, and attacked Saif with a knife. As a result, he sustained injuries to several parts of his body. His family members rushed him to Leelavati Hospital, where doctors performed surgery on him. Currently, Saif is receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit. Bollywood celebrities, as well as political leaders, have responded to the incident.

Recently, Kareena Kapoor’s ex-boyfriend, actor Shahid Kapoor, also responded to the incident. Shahid, who is starring in the upcoming film Deva, directed by Malayalam filmmaker Androos and featuring Pooja Hegde as the female lead, was promoting the movie. The movie is scheduled for release on January 31, 2025. During the movie promotions, when the media questioned Shahid about the Saif Ali Khan incident, he said, "It is an unfortunate incident. My team and I are deeply concerned about this matter. We are all in shock due to this event. I hope Saif Ali Khan’s health improves quickly, and he recovers soon."

It is well known that Kareena Kapoor was in a relationship with Shahid Kapoor before Saif Ali Khan. Kareena and Shahid dated from 2004, but they parted ways during the filming of Jab We Met. Later, during the filming of Tashan (2007), Kareena fell in love with Saif Ali Khan. The two got married in 2012.
