Actor Shefali Jariwala, popularly known for her iconic appearance in "Kaanta Laga" and her stint on "Bigg Boss 13," has tragically passed away at the age of 42. The actress reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest late Friday night. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, immediately rushed her to a hospital, but she was declared dead on arrival.

Her remains were later moved to Cooper Hospital for a detailed postmortem examination. The cause of death will be confirmed following the autopsy, though initial reports suggest cardiac arrest.

Mumbai Police visited Shefali Jariwala’s residence in Andheri shortly after her death. A forensic team also conducted a thorough investigation, and authorities are reportedly treating the case as suspicious.

Shefali rose to fame in 2002 with the chart-topping song "Kaanta Laga." She went on to feature in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, starred in the web series Baby Come Naa, and was a contestant on hit reality shows including Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss 13.
