A shooting occurred outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, between 3–4:30 am on September 12, 2025. Two unidentified men on a bike fired 6–7 rounds, but no one was injured.

Police suspect the attack was linked to Disha’s sister, Khushboo Patani, who earlier made derogatory remarks against Hindu saints Premanand Maharaj and Nirudhacharya Maharaj. Disha’s parents and Khushboo were inside during the incident.

Gangsters Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara’s associates claimed responsibility online, warning of more severe actions if Sanatan Dharma is insulted. The case has sparked fear locally and gone viral on social media.
