Shraddha Kapoor recently discussed why she hasn’t worked with Bollywood's Khans—Shah Rukh, Salman, or Aamir. She revealed in a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra that although she was offered roles alongside these stars, she turned them down if the characters didn’t excite or challenge her. Kapoor emphasized that she prioritizes working on engaging films with strong stories and directors.

On her current projects, Kapoor is celebrating the success of Stree 2, which hit theatres on August 15. The film, directed by Amar Kaushik and co-starring Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi, continues the spooky saga of Chanderi and features surprise cameos, including Varun Dhawan. Despite facing competition from "Khel Khel Mein" and "Vedaa," "Stree 2" has received positive feedback and is set to exceed the lifetime collections of the Hindi version of "Kalki 2898 AD."
