Stree 2 Box Office Success

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's horror comedy Stree 2 has shown impressive box office performance since its release. The film has maintained strong ticket sales, even on its fourth Tuesday, with daily collections consistent with previous days. In its opening week, Stree 2 earned Rs 307.80 crore, followed by Rs 145.80 crore in its second week and Rs 72.83 crore in its third week. The film's box office figures for the fourth week include Rs 4.84 crore on Friday, Rs 8.77 crore on Saturday, Rs 11.40 crore on Sunday, Rs 3.60 crore on Monday, and Rs 3.20 crore on Tuesday.

In total, Stree 2 has grossed Rs 558.24 crore at the Indian box office within 27 days of release, surpassing the earnings of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna's Animal, which made Rs 556.36 crore. Taran Adarsh, a film critic and trade analyst, praised Stree 2 for its sustained performance, attributing its success to strong showings in single-screen cinemas and among mass-market audiences.

Globally, Stree 2 has grossed Rs 780.79 crore. The film is expected to cross the Rs 600 crore mark in India before the release of Devara starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor on September 27. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 continues the story from the 2018 hit Stree, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, and includes Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles.
