Sunny Deol Gets Emotional at Ikkis Screening, Poses With Dharmendra Poster Pics

Sunny Deol, along with his brothers Bobby Deol and Abhay Deol, came together at the screening of Ikkis, the final film of their late father Dharmendra. The gathering marked an emotional reunion for the Deol family as they continue to cope with the loss of the legendary actor. During the event, Sunny was seen deeply moved while posing next to a poster featuring his father.

On Monday, as Sunny Deol reached the venue for the Ikkis screening, he briefly stopped to stand beside Dharmendra poster for photographers. He looked at the image with visible affection before the pictures were clicked. Although he maintained a gentle smile, his moist eyes revealed the strong emotions he was experiencing at that moment.
Bobby Deol attended the screening with his wife Tanya and their son Aryaman Deol. Cousin Abhay Deol joined them, and the family posed together near the poster in tribute. The evening also drew attention when Salman Khan arrived and was seen pausing to admire Dharmendra poster before posing with it.
Several other prominent figures from the film industry were present, including Tabu, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rekha, Lulia Vantur, Manish Malhotra, and the actor couple Genelia Deshmukh and Riteish Deshmukh, along with members of the film cast and crew.
About Ikkis
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Ikkis is a biographical war drama inspired by the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The film focuses on the Battle of Basantar during the 1971 India–Pakistan War.
The movie features Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and son of Shweta Bachchan. Ikkis marks Agastya theatrical debut. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Binny Padda, the film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Dharmendra, Sikander Kher, Vivaan Shah, and Simar Bhatia in pivotal roles. The project also introduces Simar Bhatia, niece of Akshay Kumar, to Hindi cinema. The film is set to hit theatres on January 1.

Sunny Deol is also preparing for the release of his highly awaited film Border 2. Directed by Anurag Singh, the movie stars Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, and Anya Singh. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
