On her 53rd birthday, Tabu is celebrated for a cinematic journey of over three decades. Starting as a child artist in Bazaar (1982), she made her Telugu lead debut with Coolie No.1 (1991) and later transitioned to Bollywood, achieving her breakthrough in Vijaypath with Ajay Devgn. She has won multiple awards, including two National Film Awards for Maachis and Chandni Bar and several Filmfare Awards, and was honored with the Padma Shri in 2011. In 2024, Tabu starred in Crew and reunited with Ajay Devgn in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Known for iconic songs like Maiyya Yashoda, she will soon be seen as Sister Francesca in Dune: Prophecy, premiering on Jio Cinema this November.
