Anticipation continues to rise steadily for Rocking Star Yash’s upcoming pan-India film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.

Rocking Star Yash headlines the large-scale pan-India project Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geetu Mohandas. The film’s creators have officially unveiled the first look of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, who will be seen in a key role in the movie.

Huma Qureshi portrays the character named Elizabeth, a role expected to add a fresh and powerful layer to the narrative. Known for her versatility and diverse performances, Huma’s entry into the world of Toxic has significantly increased audience curiosity. Her first look strongly reflects depth, intrigue, and intensity, highlighted through her expressions and commanding screen presence.

In the newly released poster, Huma Qureshi appears dressed in black, standing before a classic black vintage car. The background features tombstones and a stone angel statue, reinforcing the dark and eerie tone of the film. The overall visual composition conveys a mysterious and unsettling mood, perfectly matching the theme of the story.

Director Geetu Mohandas shared her thoughts on social media, stating that casting the right actor for Elizabeth was a demanding task. She explained that the role required a powerful presence and emotional strength, which Huma delivered effortlessly from the moment she stepped onto the set. According to the director, Huma’s natural performance and intensity have breathed life into the character, leaving a lasting impact that will provoke thought among viewers.

The story of Toxic has been co-written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, with Geetu also helming the direction. The film is being dubbed and released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, ensuring a wide pan-India reach.

From a technical standpoint, Toxic is being crafted with top-tier production values. National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi is behind the camera, while Ravi Basrur is composing the music. Editing responsibilities are handled by Ujjwal Kulkarni, with production design managed by TP Abid. Action sequences are choreographed by renowned Hollywood stunt director JJ Perry, known for his work on John Wick, along with National Award-winning action designer Anbury.

The film is produced by Venkat K under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, with Yash and Narayana serving as co-producers. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on March 19, 2026, aligning with the festive long weekend of Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa.
