Triptii Dimri Faces Backlash for Dance Moves in 'Mere Mehboob'

Triptii Dimri is receiving significant criticism for her dance in the song "Mere Mehboob" from the upcoming film Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The item song, featuring Triptii and Rajkummar Rao and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, has not been well-received by netizens, who have labeled her moves as awkward and humiliating.

In one segment, Triptii lies on the floor and performs a leg movement while shaking her torso. This choreography has led to harsh comments online, with one user stating, “Triptii is a bad dancer but sack the choreographer!” Another remarked, “This cannot be real. Embarrassing for the whole film.” Additional comments expressed feelings of embarrassment and discomfort regarding the choreography, with some users stating, “It looks humiliating.”

Despite the backlash, anticipation for the film remains high, especially after the recent release of the trailer, which promises a comedic story set in the 90s involving a CD that sparks chaos in a small town. Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is set to release in theaters on October 11.
