Triptii Dimri Responds to 'Mere Mehboob' Criticism: 'It Happens to Everyone'

Triptii Dimri, currently preparing for her upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao, addressed the trolling she received for her dance in the song Mere Mehboob, which has gone viral. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she acknowledged that not everyone excels in every area and emphasized that it’s okay to experiment.

She remarked, “I’m still a work in progress. While filming my first dance number, I didn’t expect the response it received. It’s fine; it happens to everyone. There are things people like and others they don’t, but that shouldn’t stop you from trying new things.”

The film Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video follows a couple whose intimate video is stolen after their wedding night, leading to a comedic quest to retrieve it. The cast includes notable actors such as Mallika Sherawat, Vijay Raaz, and Archana Puran Singh.
