Urvashi Rautela Apologizes to Saif Ali Khan After Controversial Remarks

Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has apologized to actor Saif Ali Khan. She posted on social media saying that she feels ashamed for speaking about him in that manner. It is known that Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an assailant. Last Thursday, an intruder broke into his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, and attacked Saif with a knife. He is presently undergoing treatment at the hospital.Bollywood celebrities and political leaders have expressed concern, hoping for his speedy recovery.

Speaking on the matter, Urvashi Rautela stated that the attack on Saif was unfortunate. She mentioned that she is currently in a successful mood due to the success of her film "Dak Maharaj," which has earned ₹105 crores so far. She said her mother gifted her a diamond ring, and her father gifted her a Rolex watch. However, she expressed concern that wearing such gifts might lead to someone attacking her. This remark, along with showing the ring to the media, led to a controversy, with netizens attacking her for speaking insensitively while Saif was in a critical condition.

Following this, Urvashi Rautela issued an apology to Saif Ali Khan. She wrote, "I hope this message reaches you, Saif sir. I feel ashamed of the way I behaved while speaking about you. I apologize for my actions. At the time of the interview, I was unaware of the seriousness of the attack on you. I was in a celebratory mood due to my film's success and spoke about the gifts I received, and I feel embarrassed about it."
