What is the Reason behind Thamma Movie Music Director Arrest?

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India:  In a surprising turn of events, music composer Sachin Sanghvi, widely recognized for his work in popular films such as Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2, was recently taken into police custody following a serious complaint filed by a young woman. The case has sparked widespread attention across the entertainment industry.

According to the complaint, the woman accused Sachin Sanghvi of inappropriate conduct, alleging that he misled her with false promises of offering opportunities in the music industry. She claimed that he assured her of launching a music album and even discussed marriage, but later took advantage of her trust.

As per the woman’s statement, she first connected with Sachin through Instagram in 2024, when he offered her a chance to feature in one of his upcoming musical projects. Over time, their communication increased, and she alleged that during one of their meetings at his studio, he behaved in an unacceptable manner. The complaint also suggests that this was not a one-time incident and that similar behavior occurred on multiple occasions.

Meanwhile, Sachin Sanghvi’s legal team has strongly denied all accusations, describing the FIR as “completely baseless.” The lawyer stated, “The claims made against my client are without foundation. His detention was unjustified, and he was subsequently granted bail.”

Sachin is one half of the renowned Sachin–Jigar music duo, celebrated for delivering several blockbuster tracks in Bollywood. Their recent compositions include Stree 2, Bhediya, Thamma, and Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari. Sachin began his career as an assistant to music director Pritam, later moving on to vocals and eventually co-composing alongside Jigar Saraiya.
