Actor Govinda's daughter has provided her statement following his accidental shooting incident. The Shiv Sena leader accidentally injured himself on October 1.

On that day, Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg while handling his licensed revolver. The bullet has since been removed, and the actor is now recovering. His daughter, Tina Ahuja, has already given her account of the incident, while Govinda has yet to make an official statement.

The mishap occurred around 4:45 AM when Govinda was preparing to leave for Kolkata for an event and was cleaning his gun. The weapon discharged after slipping from his hand. 

After the incident, Govinda was admitted to the ICU at CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai. His wife, Sunita Ahuja, was out of town at the time, but she has been kept informed about his condition and has been reassured that he is stable and out of danger. Their daughter is currently at the hospital with him.

The 90s superstar, known for his comedic roles and dance performances, made a political comeback in March by joining the Eknath Shinde faction of Shiv Sena. His last film appearance was in the 2019 release, *Rangeela Raja*.
