The film, one of the highest-budgeted projects currently in the works, is expected to feature a star-studded cast, including Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Shruti Haasan, and Huma Qureshi.

The delay is attributed to the need to coordinate schedules for this ensemble cast and to complete major sequences being shot in Bangalore. Directed and written by Geethu Mohandas, Toxic stars Yash and Nayanthara, with Nayanthara playing Yash's sister. Huma Qureshi is cast as the antagonist. Produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film's music is composed by Charan Raj.

Yash gained fame for his role as Rocky Bhai in the KGF franchise, directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films. The KGF cast includes Srinidhi Shetty, Vasishta N Simha, and others, with music by Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda.
