Kannada Actor Darshan was Hospitalized for Back Pain

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa was hospitalized for severe back pain while in judicial custody, prompting his legal team to request bail on medical grounds. He was admitted to the Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences in Bellary on October 22 for an MRI scan before returning to Ballari prison, where he has been held since August. Darshan was arrested on June 11 for his alleged involvement in the murder of 33-year-old fan Renukaswamy, whose body was found on June 9. His lawyer reported spinal issues that may require surgery. The court has yet to decide on the bail request amid ongoing investigations.
