Kantara Producer Clarifies Truth Behind Shooting Accidents
Producer Chaluve Gowda clarifies that Kantara accidents caused no on-set deaths, dismissing supernatural rumors and confirming successful shoot completion.

During the shooting of Kantara, the team faced several challenges, including a fire accident, a boat mishap, and the deaths of four actors at different times, along with the death of a buffalo used in the film. These incidents fueled rumors that supernatural forces linked to Panjurli Amma were obstructing the production.
Producer Chaluve Gowda dismissed the claims, stating no one died on set and the accidents caused only equipment damage. The deaths happened away from the film set and were unrelated to the production.
He emphasized that filming began with prayers to Panjurli Amma, and despite obstacles, it was completed successfully.
