Kantara Star Rakesh Poojary Dies At 34

Rakesh Poojary, a gifted actor renowned for his performance in Kantara Chapter 1, tragically passed away at the young age of 34.  He suffered a sudden heart attack while attending a mehendi ceremony, leaving his family, friends, and fans in shock.

Rishab Shetty, the director of Kantara, took to social media to express his sorrow, paying tribute to Rakesh's invaluable contribution to the movie. In his heartfelt message, he shared, "You will forever remain a remarkable artist in my heart. Your portrayal in Kantara and the warmth of your smile will always be remembered. This loss is irreplaceable for the artistic world. May you return in another life, my friend." Rishab also extended his condolences to Rakesh's family, praying for their strength in this difficult time.

Rakesh earned recognition for his performances in Comedy Khiladigalu and made a significant impact in the Kannada film and television industry. Kantara Chapter 1, which serves as a prequel to Kantara, features a talented cast including Sapthami Gowda, Jayaram, Kishore Kumar G, and others.
