Kiccha Sudeep Bids Goodbye to Bigg Boss Kannada Hosting, Cites Focus on Films

It is well known that the popular celebrity reality show Bigg Boss has gained a huge fan following in various states. Star heroes from different film industries are hosting the show in various languages. Kiccha Sudeep has been the host for Bigg Boss Kannada, entertaining the audience for nearly 11 seasons. However, he recently announced that he will no longer host the show in the future. He has now shared the reasons for his decision.

“When I posted that announcement, I was extremely tired. The thought of not hosting the show anymore came to my mind. I felt it was the right decision. I wanted to share it with everyone, so I posted it on social media. If I had not posted it at that time, my mindset would have changed. Some internal setbacks also led me to make this decision. I felt that my efforts were not being adequately recognized. Compared to other language versions of Bigg Boss, the Kannada show didn’t get the same level of recognition. When compared to other shows, our show should have received more respect and recognition. When such recognition was lacking, I felt it would be better to focus more time on my films. That’s why I decided to say goodbye to hosting,” said Sudeep.

Currently, Sudeep is hosting ‘Bigg Boss Season 11’ (Kannada). He has confirmed that he will not be hosting the show from the next season onward. Sudeep gained recognition among Telugu audiences through the movie ‘Eega.’ After his 2022 film 'Vikrant Rona,' his next film 'Max' will be released on December 25 as a Christmas gift. Directed by Vijay Kartikeya, this action-thriller movie has already created high expectations, and promotional material for the film has already been released. During the movie promotions, he spoke about his decision to quit hosting Bigg Boss.
