The much-awaited thriller Max, starring Kichcha Sudeepa and directed by Vijay Kartikeyaa, has successfully cleared the censorship formalities with a 'U/A' certification from the censor board. The film is scheduled for release in Kannada on December 25, with the Tamil and Telugu versions set to follow on December 27.

With less than two weeks remaining for its release, excitement around Max is growing, and the makers are gearing up for the grand audio launch event, which will take place on Sunday, December 15. The movie features Sudeepa in the role of a police officer and marks a significant milestone for producer Kalaippuli S Thanu's V Creations as they venture into Kannada cinema, collaborating with Kichcha Creations. The cast includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sudha Belawadi, Samyukta Hornad, and Sukrutha Wagle, with Ajaneesh Loknath composing the music and Shekar Chandra handling the cinematography.

The year 2024 will end with two major Kannada film releases from some of the biggest stars. Kichcha Sudeepa's Max and Real Star Upendra's UI will both release in multiple languages—UI on December 20 and Max on December 25. The two stars, who previously collaborated in Mukunda Murari and the pan-Indian film Kabzaa, will see their films hitting theaters just five days apart, adding to the excitement of the season.
