Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Re-release Date:

Marking the prestigious Kannada Rajyotsava event, the epic historical movie starring Darshan in the title role, Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna, is gearing up for a re-release with technical advancements.The film received several awards, including a Filmfare, and includes a voice-over by Kichcha Sudeepa.The film is based on the life of the notable freedom fighter Sangolli Rayanna, who hailed from Belagavi, Karnataka, and revolted against the British. Known for his bravery, his life and death story was brought to the big screen as a biopic. The film recouped its production expenses and ran for approximately 100 days in theaters across Karnataka, grossing around Rs 40 crore at the box office.

The movie has undergone significant technical enhancements for its re-release and is set to be launched across Karnataka on November 22. Additionally, students from schools and colleges will receive a 50% discount on ticket prices, provided they show a valid student ID.

Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Synopsis and Cast:

The movie follows the story of a hot-blooded youngster, Sangolli Rayanna, whose father, the village head, tries to protect him from the ego-driven politics of the village. However, things take a turn, forcing Rayanna to take charge.

The cast includes Darshan, Jayapradha, Nikita Thukral, Divya Parameshwaran, Shashikumar, Jai Jagadish, Srinivasa Murthy, Avinash, Ramesh Bhat, Doddanna, Shobhraj, and Umashree in supporting roles. Written and directed by Keshavaditya Naganna, the film was produced by Anand Appugol. Yashovardhan and Hari Krishna composed the sound and score, while editing was done by Govardhan and Ramesh Babu handled the visuals.
