Raju James Bond: Gurunandan's Comic Adventure Set for Year End Release
The movie Raju James Bond, featuring Gurunandan from First Rank Raju, is set to hit theaters on December 27.Directed by Deepak Madhuvanahalli, the movie promises to be a lighthearted entertainer. After much speculation, the release date was confirmed with the launch of the motion poster on Saturday. The announcement event was attended by producers Manjunath Vishwakarma and Kiran Bharturu.
Director Madhuvanahalli mentioned that viewers will see Gurunandan in a fresh new role, moving beyond his First Rank Raju persona. He shared, “We’ve challenged him with a different genre, taking him out of his comfort zone.” He also noted, “This film provides clean, wholesome entertainment without any inappropriate dialogues, promising at least an hour of laughter. Let’s end the year on a joyful note!”
Gurunandan spoke about stepping out of his famous role, saying, “The director has pushed me to try dance and action scenes, and the producers have ensured no shortcuts in production.” The film stars Mridula as the female lead, with Ravi Shankar, Chikkanna, Sadhu Kokila, Achyuth Kumar, and Jai Jagadish in significant roles. Dance choreographer Murali directed four songs, two shot in India and two in London. Manohar Joshi handled the cinematography. Raju James Bond will be released in both Kannada and Hindi languages.
