Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1 Begins Fourth Shooting Schedule with Grand Action Sequences

Rishab Shetty's much-anticipated film, Kantara Chapter 1, is set to begin its fourth shooting schedule this August, focusing on a grand action sequence. The film, a prequel to the hit Kantara, will explore the lore of the Panchurli Deiva from the Kadamba era and is directed by Shetty himself.  In 2023, Shetty revealed that the audience had seen Part 2 and that the prequel, Kantara Chapter 1, would come next year. This prequel will delve into the origins of the Panjurli and Guliga Daivas.

Recently, Shetty expressed frustration with Bollywood's portrayal of India in international film festivals, criticizing how these films depict the country negatively.
