Rishab Shetty unveils the first poster of his much-awaited film, The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, on February 19, marking the 395th birth anniversary of the warrior king. The movie, set for release on January 21, 2027, is an ambitious historical epic, with Rishab portraying the iconic figure of Shivaji Maharaj.

Rishab shared in an interview with Times of India that it was an honor and immense pride for him to bring Shivaji's life and legacy to the big screen. The film features music by Pritam, lyrics by Prasoon Joshi, and is directed by Sandeep Singh, with cinematography by Ravi Varman and sound by Resul Pookutty.

Apart from this, Rishab Shetty is also starring as Hanuman in Jai Hanuman, a sequel to his hit film Hanuman, and is directing the prequel to Kantara, titled Kantara: Chapter 1, which will be released later this year.
