Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF 2 had a budget of Rs 100 crore, making it the most expensive Kannada film at the time. The film grossed Rs 1,200–1,500 crore worldwide and became Sanjay Dutt’s highest-grossing movie. It also starred Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, and others. Released on April 14, 2022, the film is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The success of KGF 2 has sparked discussions about a potential KGF 3. Yash confirmed that they have an idea for the sequel but are focusing on his upcoming projects Toxic and Ramayana for now. He teased that KGF 3 will happen when the time is right. Yash is also set to play Ravana in Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, with a Diwali 2026 release planned.
