Actor-director Rajesh Madhavan tied the knot with assistant director Deepthi Karat on Thursday. The couple, who met while working on the 2022 film Nna Thaan Case Kodu, had been in a relationship before their marriage. Rajesh, originally from Kasaragod, began his career as a production controller before transitioning to acting with a minor role in Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016). He later worked as an assistant director and casting director, earning recognition for his roles in Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham (2021) and Madanolsavam (2023). Rajesh's directorial debut, Pennum Porattum, is in post-production.

Deepthi Karat has worked as an assistant director on several Malayalam and Hindi projects, including Across the Ocean (2019), Dahaad (2023), and Killer Soup. She also collaborated with Rajesh on SSHP.
