Devi Krishnakumar, daughter of veteran actor-director P Sreekumar, is all set to make her acting debut with Kallam, which is scheduled for release later this month. The film is described as a murder mystery and is directed by Anuram, with a script penned by Arya Bhuvanendran.

P Sreekumar, who has acted in over 150 films, is widely recognized for his roles in movies such as Paadam Onnu: Oru Vilapam, Achuvinte Amma, Rappakal, Drishyam, and Fireman. He has also helmed movies such as Kayyum Thalayum Purathidaruthu, Asthikal Pookkunnu, and Vishnu.His daughter, Devi Krishnakumar, who works as an English teacher, is making her entry into films through social media reels. She had previously appeared in the short film Nirbhayayum Vedhalavum.

Kallam features a strong cast including Jeo Baby, Adil Ibrahim, Shaheen Siddique, and Kailash in key roles. Other actors in the film include Nandana Rajan, Akhil Prabhakar, Ajaz, Anuram, Ann Maria, Savitha Bhaskar, Shobha Paravoor, and Asha Devi. The film is produced by Cameo Entertainments, with Martin Mathew as the cinematographer. Madhu Paul has composed the background score, while Jishnu Thilak has created the songs.
