Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan is well-known to Telugu audiences with several of his dubbed films achieving success.

His portrayal of Gemini Ganesan in "Mahanati" brought him closer to Telugu viewers.

Dulquer made his Telugu debut as the lead in "Sita Ramam," which was a super hit.

He signed another Telugu film, "Lucky Bhaskar," directed by Venky Atluri, set to release on October 31.

Recently, Dulquer started a new film "Kanta" directed by Selvamani Selvaraj.

Actress Bhagyashree Bose will star alongside Dulquer in this movie.

The film’s shooting began with a pooja ceremony, and more cast details will be revealed soon.

"Kanta" is jointly produced by Rana Daggubati, Dulquer Salmaan, Suresh Productions, and Wayfarer Banners.

The movie will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Director Selvamani Selvaraj previously worked on "The Hunt for Veerappan" and as an on-set assistant for "Life of Pi."
