Film Producer Manu Padmanabhan Nair Passed Away During Bus Journey
Film producer Manu Padmanabhan Nair, known for hits like Vellam and Kooman, passed away suddenly on December 2. He collapsed during a bus journey from Coimbatore to Palakkad.

Manu Padmanabhan Nair, the prominent Malayalam film producer, passed away on Monday, December 2, during a bus journey from Coimbatore to Palakkad. Reports indicate that he collapsed while traveling and was rushed to a hospital in Palakkad, where he was pronounced dead. His body has been taken to his residence in Kottayam.
Manu Padmanabhan was known for producing several successful Malayalam films, including Vellam, Kooman, and others. His first production was the thriller 10 Kalpanakal (starring Meera Jasmine), followed by the critically acclaimed Vellam (starring Jayasurya), which was a major hit. His third venture, Kooman (starring Asif Ali), also turned out to be a commercial success.
Manu's upcoming project, Whine, a thriller directed by Zaheer Abbas, is currently in the works.
